Welcome!

I am Callie of Callie’s Corner. Here at Callie’s Corner, we are going to be talking all about books. All types of books.

I will be adding reviews of some of my most recent reads, compiling lists of books I love in different genres, and talking about books on my TBR that I have wanted to read but haven’t gotten around to yet.

Reviews

Under the reviews section on the blog, you will find short reviews of books I have read. I will leave my thoughts, rate them on a scale of 1-5, whether or not I would reread it, and provide reasons for each of my ratings.

I will try to be as spoiler-free as I can, but if I am unable to avoid spoilers I will let you know at the beginning and do a shorter spoiler-free review with the rating and re-readability at the top.

Lists

I read lots of books over many different genres and categories. Because I know some people have genres they love and stick to more than others I am going to be compiling my favorite books for each of my favorite genres.

I will probably have some cross-section and can’t guarantee I have read everything there is to read in each genre. Just know they are based on my experience and I am always open for new books to try.

Please send me recommendations of things you thought should have been on the lists that weren’t.

TBR

TBR stands for To Be Read. Basically, this is just where I will compile books I have heard great things about and want to read, but haven’t gotten to yet.

I will post a small summary of what I know about the book and ask for you, my readers, to help me pick what the next book I pick up should be.
